Macrocarpa/Cypress timbers have been a proven cladding for many years. MacDirect has seen our cladding sales increase rapidly as homeowners see its special attributes. A NZ exotic, chemical free, durable, stable timber, it can be painted, stained, or left to naturally silver off. MacDirect can pre-coat your weatherboard with the wood oil coating of your choice.

For building code purposes, MacDirect can supply a producer statement stating the timber supplied is heart wood. Our cladding is specifically graded for weatherboard, No.1 panel grade, heart, with tight knots. It should be noted that panel grade weatherboard is a higher grade than panel grade sarking with no bark inclusion.
