WE SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITIES
Over the past 25 years MaDirect has supported local and national community groups and organisations in their missions to inform, educate and support need our communitys. MacDirect's mission is to be a company that provides and creates opportunities in our communities for our young people. Below are some of the initiaves we support.
Local Schools
MacDirect has proudly support local calf club days throughout the Franklin Area for more than 10 years. We supply Raffle items to the schools every spring. Thanks to all the Franklin Schools for allowing MacDirect to be part of these exciting local events!
Basketball
Because we have a few crazy basketball fans at MacDirect, we have supported a number of sporting projects for Franklin Basketball. This includes providing timber products for building projects.
We also proudly supported the Pukekohe High School basketball team on their first ever trip to the Secondary School Nationals in 2023. A massive achievement for the team and we were proud to back them.
Franklin Bulls NBL
MacDirect has been a major supporter of the local National Basketball League Team, the Franklin Bulls since their inception. In 2024 the Bulls celebrate 5 years in the league and MacDirect has been a proud supporter of the club. The club has supported the growth of basketball in Franklin in South Auckland and North Waikato of more than 400%. The Bulls help create opportunities for young South Auckland athletes, and this is something we have backed since the beginning. We are proud to support the Bulls in their 2024 SalsNBL campaign.
